The new Yew wood carving knife from our Forest and Forge premium collection, changes the way you view knives. A beautiful collection, Forest and Forge is much more than a pretty face, smooth soft handles that are an enjoyment to hold and use. This 9-inch carving knife with its yew handle is the perfect gift, given with the matching carving fork. Every part of this carving knife has been created to the highest standards. Also new to the Forest and Forge range is this stunning Yew wood carving fork with guard ensuring protection when carving through meat. An essential tool in the kitchen, when carving and preparing a magical dinner, bring out the Forest and Forge carving fork. Made to the highest standards, Forest and Forest blurs the boundaries of affordable luxury. From the Sheffield Rockwell 53-55 steel to the recycled wind damaged bough wood from estates in North Yorkshire, this collection is to a superior quality with individual unique touches on the grains of each handle. All our blades used for our Forest and Forge range have a high carbon content, this increases the sharpness and longevity while the high chrome content hardens and improves the quality of the steel. The Yew wood used was once wind damaged boughs from estates in Malton in North Yorkshire. By using recycled wood, we can make sure that all wood used in the Forest and Forge collection does not result in healthy trees being unnecessary chopped down. By using wood from different trees throughout the collection, each handle has its own personality, unique grains and a slight change in shade of colour. We have worked hard to create the ultimate collection of British knifes that function just as good as they look. When it comes to caring for your new carving knife, hand wash only in warm water and drying thoroughly straight after. Due to the law, it is illegal to sell knives to anyone under the age of 18. Dexam will contact you to verify proof of age before dispatching your order.
