At Dexam, we are lucky enough to work in a world that revolves around the heart of any home, the kitchen and, of course, food. As we grow our brand, we are looking for a Marketing Manager to deliver a consistent brand message no matter the platform or the audience.  Dexam’s offices and warehouse are based in Midhurst, West Sussex, the role is full time and permanent (we can be flexible on location as long as around 2 days per week are spent in Midhurst).

You will play a pivotal part in brand building, B2B and B2C communications both online and offline and work closely with the new product development process. Your role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Developing the strategic marketing plan in conjunction with the MD
  • Working closely with the NPD team
  • Understanding the product direction, trends and focus through marketing data, demographics and competitor activity
  • Overseeing and responsibility for 2 marketing executives:
    • One tasked with marketing communications, POS, promotional material, showroom displays, photography and PR
    • One for website and product file maintenance, social media content, PPC and e-mail campaigns
  • Controlling the brand message in all social media and on our website

So, what are we looking for?

  • You will be a creative thinker, a doer not a delegator and able to work with a small budget
  • Resilient and results focussed with the ability to manage creative tension
  • Persuasive with an easy communication style and energetic
  • Completely adept with both B2C and B2B marketing environments
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to instinctively know the priorities
  • Knowledge of a high growth business would be advantageous.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to function in a pressured environment with flexibility, positivity and a ‘can-do’ attitude and a sense of humour.
  • A love of cooking
