Very Easy Sausagemeat Stuffing Balls

Perfect for Christmas, Sunday roasts and easy weekday suppers.

Sausagemeat Stuffing
PREP TIME 15 mins COOK TIME 30 mins MAKES 12 to 16. Enough for a 5kg turkey


  • 500g good quality sausagemeat
  • 3 medium onions, peeled and finely diced
  • 100g mushrooms, finely diced
  • bunch of parsley, washed and finely chopped
  • 250g fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg to bind
  • good pinch dried mixed herbs

Preparation method

  1. Place all the ingredients, apart from the breadcrumbs in a mixing bowl and mix really well.
  2. Spread the breadcrumbs onto a large baking tray.
  3. Roll the sausagemeat into little balls and then roll in the breadcrumbs to coat. Put onto another baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for approximately 30 minutes until crispy and brown.
  4. Serve straight from the oven as a delicious accompaniment to turkey or chicken.
