Matcha Waffles

Matcha Waffles, made from Green Tea, are delicious, ridiculously easy to make and are endorsed by our good friend, celebrity chef Jeremy Pang. Serve with either butter, maple syrup or fruit of your choice, these matcha waffles are the ideal breakfast for those on the go.

PREP TIME 10 minutes COOK TIME 10 minutes MAKES 1
  • 2 tablespoons of matcha powder
  • ¼ teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 128g of plain flour
  • 250mg of coconut milk

Preparation method

  1. Start by adding all the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl before adding the matcha powder and the coconut milk.
  2. Blend all the ingredients together until the mixture has become lump free.
  3. Using a ladle, pour the mixture into a waffle maker and cook the waffles until they have turned a golden brown.
  4. Serve the waffles while hot with a topping of your choice.
