  • 8 limes- juiced
  • 300ml of condensed sweet milk
  • 235ml of water
  • 60ml of tequila
  • 2 tablespoons of orange liqueur
  • 300g of frozen mango
  • 300g of fresh strawberries
  • 4 limes- sliced into 15 slices in total
  • 15 plastic or paper reusable cups
  • 15 lolly sticks

Preparation method

  1. Start in a large glass, by stirring in the fresh lime juice, condensed milk, tequila and orange liqueur.
  2. With 5 of the cups, divide 1/3 of the mixture among the cups.
  3. In a blender add 1/3 of the margarita mix along with the frozen mango and blend until the mixture has become lump free. Adding more water to blend the mixture if necessary. Once the mixture has been blended and no lumps remain, divide the mixture among 5 clean cups.
  4. In a cleaner blender pour the remaining margarita mix and add the strawberries before blending, making sure that it is lump free. Pour the mixture among the remaining cups.
  5. With your sliced limes from earlier, place the lolly stick through the centre of the lime before placing on top of each of the cups. Make sure that you push the lime right down so that it is touching the mixture.
  6. Place the lollies up right in the freezer to freeze, this should take around 5 hours.
  7. When the ice lollies have frozen and you are ready to serve, using scissors cut open the plastic cup and remove before serving.
